How to Switch from Libsyn to OnPodium

Two ways to switch from Libsyn

Website only. Keep Libsyn as your host and build your website on OnPodium from your Libsyn feed. Nothing changes for your listeners in the podcast apps.
Website and hosting. On the Pro+ plan, OnPodium hosts your audio and publishes your feed. You import the show from Libsyn and redirect your Libsyn feed to OnPodium.

Copy your Libsyn RSS feed address. It usually looks like https://yourshow.libsyn.com/rss. You can also search for your show by name in OnPodium.
Create your OnPodium site. Start a free trial at dashboard.onpodium.com and paste the feed. OnPodium imports every episode.
Pick a template and add your logo, colours and fonts.
Connect your domain. The dashboard shows the DNS records to set at your registrar and checks them. OnPodium then sets up https.

From then on, publish at Libsyn as usual. Each new episode appears on your website by itself.

Start an OnPodium Pro+ account and choose to import an existing podcast. Use your Libsyn feed address. OnPodium copies your episodes and audio.
Check every episode: the titles, the show notes and the audio.
Copy your new feed address from the RSS feed page of the OnPodium dashboard.
Redirect your Libsyn feed. In your Libsyn settings, find the feed redirect option and enter your new OnPodium feed address. This is a permanent (301) redirect. The menu name can differ between Libsyn versions; Libsyn support can also set it up for you.
Keep your Libsyn account open until Apple Podcasts, Spotify and the other apps show your new feed, so the redirect keeps working.
Publish new episodes on OnPodium from now on.

Not if you redirect your Libsyn feed. The podcast apps follow a permanent feed redirect, and subscribers keep getting new episodes.

Yes. Many people start with the website only and move hosting when they are ready.

Website plans start at $9 a month. Hosting is part of the Pro+ plan. Every plan has a 14-day free trial.
